HUNTER

Never stop learning, and don’t be arrogant, you can learn from anyone no matter how long they have hunted. Words that Thomas Eiesar live by.

Thomas has hunted all his life, the first many years he went hunting with his father, until he got his hunting license at 17. For Thomas hunting is not just about shooting and bringing home meat, it’s the whole experience about spending time outside, it’s therapeutic. Moving silently through the forest, blending in with nature, senses sharpened, the mind and body completely focused.

Even though the experience is the most important thing for Thomas, bringing home game meat plays a big part as well. In his house they eat almost solely game meat, and that’s something he is proud of. He knows that the animals he puts down have lived a good life in the wild, rather than in a cage on a farm. Thomas is very conscious about using every part of the animal, and it come natural to him to put an effort into preparing the meat, when he has pulled the trigger himself.

“Never stop learning, and don’t be arrogant, you can learn from anyone no matter how long they have hunted.”
