To keep up with the latest standards we have upgraded the S-series battery with a USB-C Charging port. USB-C technology has several advantages and within the next years, most electronics will be delivered with USB-C plugs/cables.

The new S-series battery is indeed backwards compatible, the only thing changed is the charging port.

As an accessory the new S-series rechargeable battery with USB-C has article number: 951.026. Future deliveries of S4 rechargeable will also be delivered with USB-C batteries.
