Wrong chargers can cause overheating Unfortunately, some customers have been experiencing electronic overheating of the V3air rechargeable control circuit, when charging our lamp by USB car chargers. The overheating can occur when it is connected to USB car chargers that do not conform to the USB standard, thereby delivering a higher voltage than the standard 5V. Regrettably this is the case with many low-cost USB car chargers! When charging the headlamp with a higher voltage than 5V, the charging control IC gets overloaded and this causes the headlamp to overheat.
